Obituary of Martha Arnold
Martha M. Arnold "Marie", age 84, of Macks Creek, Missouri, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Marie was born December 29, 1932 in Macks Creek, MO. She was the daughter of Edward Addison and Edith (Meads) Willis.
On December 4, 1954 she was united in marriage to Junior Cyrus in Kansas City, MO, who preceded her in death September 25, 1993. She was later married to Billy Joe Arnold in Macks Creek, MO, on March 23, 1995, who preceded her in death December 14, 2013.
Marie worked for Blair Cedar for many years before retiring. She loved spending her days outdoors fishing and camping and enjoyed travelling throughout the country. Her greatest joy in life was her family and the time she could spend with them.
Marie was a member of Big Niangua Baptist Church in Roach, Missouri.
Marie is survived by her sons John Cyrus of Clever, Missouri and Gary Cyrus and wife, Shari, of Camdenton, Missouri; her daughter Lisa Jenkins of Macks Creek, Missouri; her step-son, David Arnold and wife, Angie, of Macks Creek, Missouri; her step-daughters Teresa Heimbeaugh and husband, Larry of Camdenton, Missouri and Brenda Banner of Macks Creek, Missouri; her brothers Don Willis and wife, Easter, of Macks Creek, Missouri and AJ Willis of Gilcrest, Oregon; twenty three grandchildren and forty-one great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband’s Junior Cyrus and Billy Joe Arnold, she was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers Frank and Vaughn.
Paul bearers are grandsons David Cyrus, Bradley Simmons, Mike Cyrus, Nicholas Jones, Jered Clark, and KJ Wallander. Honorary Paul bearers Jesse and David Arnold.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Macks Creek, Missouri.
Services will be at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, November 15 at the funeral home. Officiated by Byron Willis and Steve Willis.
Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Macks Creek, Missouri.
Memorial donations are suggested to Big Niangua Baptist Church, Roach, Missouri.
