Pat, this was at the Village Christmas party last year, while I was still there. He was the friendliest man I had ever met. He took time to get to know everyone he met. He made sure he came by the Village about one or two times a month to help the newcomer feel welcome. He tried to show me how to bait a crawpy hook with a worm, and loved you to pieces.
This is the best of all the pics from the Christmas Party. He told me a story of the first time he saw you in go-go boots, he said, I am going to marry that girl...such a character. He would give me updates of his children and how one of his sons was going through new therapies for football players, and his progress and a dad's worrying. He shared his sister stories and the hall of fame induction, and the travels over the year....my heart breaks for your family. This is such a loss.,
John with the boys...yet that little grin for a picture! He was the kindest man who others sure could have learned from. Especially some of the men on the board where I worked.
