Obituary of Anna Belle Caruso
Anna Belle Caruso, age 81, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022. Anna was born on September 8, 1940, in Beckley, West Virginia. She was the daughter of Herbert and Nola Gertrude (Gilmore) Redden.
On July 23, 1960, Anna was united in marriage to Ralph Caruso in Derwood, Maryland. They shared nearly 62 years of marriage together.
Anna was an incredibly caring woman. She loved to help others. Anna enjoyed being a homemaker and had a passion for cooking and catering for others. Anna was also an avid genealogist and loved tracking her family history. Anna’s biggest passion in life was her family. She cared about her family more than anything. Anna was a beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother, and will be missed dearly by all that knew her.
Anna is survived by her husband Ralph, of the home; her daughter, Dana Maria Freidin, of Bangor, Maine; her brother Dewy “Buddy” (Erma) Redden, of Montross, Virginia; her sister, Ruth Davis, of Waldorf, Maryland; 3 grandchildren, Shannon (Josh) Pryor, Jason (Amanda) Freidin, and Chris Freidin; 8 great-grandchildren, Megan Douglas, Athalia Cusick, Ethan Sartin, Zoe Freidin, Chloe Freidin, Aiden Freidin, Katie Pryor, and Ava Freidin.
Anna is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Nola Redden; her brothers, Donald, Herbert, and Fredrick Redden; her sister Rosemary Redden; and her great-granddaughter Molly.
Visitation will be held at Hedges-Scott Funeral home in Osage Beach, Missouri on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Services will be held at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
Internment will be held following services at Gotts Cemetery in Brumley, Missouri.
